Tourism, as one of the most dynamic branches of market economy, clearly represents the largest migration flows on Earth and leaves a clear imprint in the area of urban and social interactions. From the middle of the 20th century until today, tourism in Istria has been the main generator of economic growth and principal moderator of urban transformations. The City of Rovinj and Adris Company give new models of the complete urbanization of the Istrian peninsula.
